A late summer visit to Kehoe Beach in search of late-bloomers unusual elsewhere in Marin.
From February onwards, many wildflowers and shrubs can be seen along this short, mainly level trail. In late summer there will still be a few species for us to see growing in the marshes, dunes, and on the headland, including some late-bloomers uncommon elsewhere in Marin such as Baccharis glutinosa and Mentha aquatica.
Meet at the trailhead, location of a restroom and roadside parking.
